Guidelines for IPESL Institutional Awards
The Office of the Chancellor announced the availability of IPESL institutional awards in April-May, 2006; the announcements and related documents can be found in this section.

In order to receive the funds, interested presidents must submit to the Sr. Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs a project prospectus, adhering to the guidelines found here, before September 30, 2006 (colleges) or October 31, 2006 (universities). Work on a project may begin upon notification from the Office of the Chancellor that the institution's prospectus is complete and filed. At that time, notice will be sent to the institution's business office to create a cost center for receipt of the allocation. All projects are to be completed by September 30, 2007.

A project prospectus is a document that describes project objectives, personnel, planned activities, budget, and expected outcomes.

Click on the appropriate link below for guidelines that colleges and universities must follow in composing and submitting project prospectuses to the Office of the Chancellor.  The guidelines in these documents are in effect for the current biennium, 2005-2007. Future modifications may be distributed by the Sr. Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs based upon annual review of the Awards for Excellence process.

Interim and final report guidelines will be added soon to this site. College and university presidents will be consulted on reporting requirements and will be notified via email when reporting requirements are available.
